Raw materials
Steel plants usually allocate large open space to stockpile enough raw materials, such as coal, for metallurgical Equipment including blast Furnaces, sintering, coke ovens and etc. However, the space is easy to cause airborne dust. Therefore, we developed a dust-control system, by which the dust collection rate proves 90%, to add moisture to stockpiles to prevent dust. Nozzles produce drops to collide with dust particles that are already airborne

Adding moisture to stockpiles to prevent dust

Steel plants usually allocate large open space to stockpile enough raw materials, such as coal, for metallurgical Equipment including blast Furnaces, sintering, coke ovens and etc. However, the space is easy to cause airborne dust. Therefore, we developed a dust-control system, by which the dust collection rate proves 90%, to add moisture to stockpiles to prevent dust. Nozzles produce drops to collide with dust particles that are already airborne; the moisture weighs the particles down so they are returned to the material source or ground.

This dust-control system is composed of a water supply system, a control system and a spray guns station.

Features:

1. Automatic control: spray timing, continuous/batch spray in groups and etc;

2. Automatic Frequency Conversion control by the water supply system according to the numbers of spray guns and pipe pressure;

3. Automatic Rotating of spray guns and adjustable rotating angles

4. Even spray pattern, and high rate of coverage for dust prevention and dust suppression and etc.

Parameters (application-dependent)

1. pump capacity: 50~300m3/h

2. Frequency Conversion control: pump- dependent

3. Flow rate of a spray gun: 40-60m3/h, distance: 30-60m

4. Numbers of spray guns: 6-20
